If you're wondering (as I did until someone explained it to me like I was four) what the difference is between a DISCUSSION BOARD entry and a LISTING is, here's the skinny:

The DISCUSSION BOARD is the place for threaded posts, not unlike back at Metafilter, except that threads here can spawn children (ew).

LISTINGS, on the other hand, are for when you want to make an announcement to the entire group (a la Craigslist).

Have a new project you'd like us to know about? Make a LISTING... want us to comment on it? Make a DISCUSSION BOARD post. The LISTINGS are also great if you've got something for sale, or are looking for a roommate.
