So, there's this movie (which looks kinda cheezy) called Day After Tomorrow coming out at the end of the month. The premise is that global warming triggers sudden climate change, bringing down a whole can of climatic whoop-ass on the helpless peoples of the world.
Now, normally one would let this pass without comment, but given that there's next to no discussion of climate change and its implications in American politics these days, it seems a shame to let the opportunity to stir some debate pass by. The fundamentalists put the Passion on the top of the box-office charts: why can't we do the same thing with the Day after Tomorrow? Why should the fundies have all the fun?
